Common Wildlife Issues in the UK
Our Philosophy
"Finding the right balance between human behaviours and nature."
Our Approach
Balanced & Sustainable
Wildlife Management
As members of the Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust, we believe pest control is not about destroying wildlife — it's about managing the balance responsibly, educating our clients, and protecting the UK's natural world.
The Observation
Every job begins with a thorough environmental risk assessment. We study behaviour patterns and site conditions before recommending any action.
The Balanced Solution
Non-toxic, proofing-first methods wherever possible. We only use active ingredients when absolutely necessary, following all CRRU codes of practice.
Responsible Practice
We protect non-target species, maintain a clear audit trail, and never take an approach that conflicts with our values.
Core Values

Protecting Pollinators
Bees & Beneficial Insects
Not all insects are pests. Honeybees, bumblebees, and other pollinators are vital to our ecosystem. We specialise in live removal and rehoming of honeybee colonies, working with local beekeepers to protect these essential creatures.

PREVENTION FIRST
Natural Prevention Tips
The best pest management starts at home. Simple, natural methods prevent infestations before they begin.
Sanitation & Hygiene
- Store food in airtight containers; never leave pet food out overnight
- Keep bins sealed and empty regularly to remove attraction sources
- Remove standing water, bird baths and gutters — breeding grounds for insects
- Deep clean under appliances and furniture quarterly
Proofing & Sealing
- Seal gaps around pipes, cables and vents with silicone or wire mesh
- Install door sweeps and weatherstripping to prevent rodent entry
- Check roof fascias, soffits and eaves for gaps (especially before autumn)
- Repair cracks in walls, brickwork and concrete
Garden & Outdoor
- Trim shrubs and vegetation at least 1m from buildings to remove harborage
- Store firewood, garden waste and compost away from the house perimeter
- Remove dead wood, leaf litter and dense undergrowth
- Maintain drains and gutters to prevent pooling water
Safe Solutions for Families with Pets & Children
When professional treatment is needed, we prioritise safety. Please advise during consultation if you have pets, children, or vulnerable family members — we'll tailor our approach accordingly with pet-safe and child-safe methods.
